This was picture that has been taken in Copenhagen between my 2 rehearsals of the opera « Dead man Walking ». It doesn’t look like it but it is supposed to be in January, meaning I would have expected to see some snow or ice here in the North of Europe. But I must say for a Canadian girl I am seeking for SNOW and some minus 30 degres!

I did work hard until now studying 2 big parts in that opera: the main role Sister Helene and a very touching role the mother of the convict. The opera is 400 pages and I did learn the music and the staging of … well 400 pages! that was crazy, but I managed it! If you have the chance you really have to see and hear the beautiful music!

I feel though that I need to come back to myself and that is why, I am taking a time off. Not so free since I am already learning a new role Azucena that I will be singing pretty soon.
